Chandler's 24th Annual Ostrich Festival

You've probably seen a horse race before, but have you ever seen an ostrich race?

It is almost time for the 24th Annual Ostrich Festival.  The Ostrich Festival Fun Run begins at 8:00 am Saturday, March 3rd, 2012.  The Ostrich Festival Parade will follow at 10:00.  Both events are in downtown Chandler, Arizona.

The actual Ostrich Festival is the following weekend at Chandler’s Tumbleweed Park at the corner of McQueen and Germann (2250 S. McQueen Rd. - just south of the Loop 202 San Tan freeway).  Fri, March 9th, 2pm to Midnight, Sat, March 10th 10am to Midnight, and Sun, March 11th 10am to 11pm.  General admission at the gate will be $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $7 for youth (ages 5-12) and kids 4 and under are FREE.  $5 for parking.

There will be Ostrich Races at the Ostrich Track on Friday 4pm, and 6pm, Saturday noon, 2pm, and 5pm, and Sunday noon, 2pm, and 5pm.
